CCH summer camp 2026: dates, age limit, activities and registration
The Cadet College Hasanabdal Leadership Summer Camp ran for 15 days in 2026, from 5 to 19 July, for boys aged 12 to 18 — national and international students alike. Registration closed on 24 May 2026. A 2027 camp has not been announced yet; this page tracks what the college publishes.

What is the CCH Leadership Summer Camp?
It is a residential summer programme run by Cadet College Hasanabdal on its own campus — 15 days of supervised activity for boys, built around skills a classroom rarely teaches. In 2026 the college billed it as "Challenge. Learn. Lead." and opened it to both national and international students.
It is not a coaching academy, not an entrance-exam crash course and not a route into the college. It is the college opening its grounds and instructors for a fortnight — which is exactly why it is worth knowing about early, because the registration window is short and it closes quietly.
When was the 2026 camp, and when will the next one be?
The 2026 edition ran 5–19 July 2026— 15 days, per the college's announcement. Registration opened in March 2026 and closed on 24 May 2026.
For the next edition, the honest answer is that no 2027 camp has been announced. What we can say is what the college has done historically: the camp has been run annually in recent summers (CCH's own coverage refers to the 2026 edition as the 4th), with registration in the spring and the camp itself in July. Treat a July 2027 camp with a spring registration window as likely, not confirmed — and watch the college's camp page rather than any third-party summary, including this one.
Who can apply — age, gender and nationality
For 2026, CCH's announcement was specific: boys aged 12–18, open to national and international students. Two practical consequences parents tend to miss:
- A 12-year-old and an 18-year-old are in the same programme. The activities are pitched across that whole range, so the value a student gets depends on how much they put in.
- "International students" is stated, not implied. Families abroad do not need to assume they are excluded; the college's own announcement says otherwise — though travel and documentation are the family's problem, not the college's.
Age criteria can shift between editions. Verify against the current announcement before you plan anything around it.
What happens during the 15 days?
CCH's own list of what the camp covers: horse riding, robotics, photography, archery and entrepreneurship, plus leadership workshops, sports and outdoor activity — all described as guided by trainers. The 2026 edition was held at the college itself: NH-5, Hasanabdal, Attock, Punjab.
Read that list as a skills map rather than a timetable. Horse riding and archery are physical and demand fitness and coached repetition; robotics and entrepreneurship are the thinking-and-building half; photography and the outdoor sections ask a student to notice things and describe them. A camper who arrives physically ready and willing to speak up extracts far more than one who does not.
How do you register for the CCH summer camp?
Through the college, never a middleman. In 2026 the route was a registration form published by CCH, linked from its camp announcement, with a 24 May 2026 deadline and a public inquiry line: 0319-5551228. The announcement lives at cch.edu.pk/leadership-summer-camp-2026, and the college's site is where a 2027 announcement would appear first.
One warning worth stating plainly: this camp is a magnet for "agents" who offer to secure a place for a fee. The college publishes its own form and its own phone number. Anyone charging you to "get your son in" is charging you for a form you can fill yourself.
How much does the CCH summer camp cost?
We do not know, and we will not pretend to. CCH's public camp announcement does not publish a fee — so we state no figure at all. The registration form and the inquiry line (0319-5551228) are the authority; ask them directly. If a number you see elsewhere carries no link to the college, treat it as unverified, including any number that might later appear on this page without a source.
Is the summer camp a route into CCH admission?
No, and the distinction matters. The Leadership Summer Camp is a 15-day programme of activities; nothing in the college's announcement presents it as a selection channel. Admission to CCH is a separate process with its own entrance test and merit list — the one described on our CCH preparation page.
What genuinely does transfer is the skill base. A boy who has spent a fortnight being coached in archery, building something in robotics and presenting in front of a group returns with habits — attention, nerve, stamina for a long day — that show up in an exam hall too. That is a real benefit, and it is a different thing from a guaranteed seat.
How should a student prepare for the camp?
Four things, in the order they matter:
- Fitness first. Horse riding, archery and outdoor activity are physical. Two weeks of not being winded by a flight of stairs is worth more than any packing list.
